Zabbix collects and alerts; Grafana displays. Servers, network, services and applications with the dependencies between them, so when something fails you know what went down first instead of guessing.
Physical and virtual servers, switches, firewalls, links, printers, UPS units, databases, web services and in-house applications. If it has an IP address or exposes a metric, it can be monitored.
Factory defaults generate noise all day until someone mutes them. We tune thresholds to how your infrastructure actually behaves, peak hours and month-end included.
When the link goes down we do not want forty alerts from forty devices: we want one saying the link went down. Dependencies are modelled so the alert points at the cause, not the symptom.
One for management, with availability and monthly trends in plain language; another for the technical team, with the detail. Each looks at what they need without decoding the other one.
Email, Telegram, WhatsApp or the service desk, with escalation if nobody responds within X minutes. An alert landing in a mailbox nobody opens is the same as no alert.
What went down, how long it took to come back, what is running short and what to plan for. Useful for justifying a purchase before urgency decides it for you.
Sample screen showing what day-to-day operation looks like. Not client data.
Not necessarily. The problem is rarely the tool and almost always the configuration: default thresholds, alerts with no recipient, devices left uncovered. If what you have can be tuned, we tune it; if migrating pays off, we justify it with numbers.
It depends. Servers and workstations work better with an agent, because it gives internal metrics. Network gear, UPS units and printers are monitored over SNMP, with nothing installed. Web services are checked from outside, the way a user sees them.
Wherever you prefer: your own infrastructure, a dedicated server or the cloud. The monitoring data is yours and stays where you decide, with full console access.
The assessment shows what is unmonitored today and which alerts can be live within the first week.
