Migration
An inventory of virtual machines, dependencies and possible windows. We migrate in batches, starting with whatever hurts least if something goes wrong, and the original machine stays untouched until the new one is proven running.
We migrate VMware and Hyper-V environments to Proxmox VE in agreed windows, with a rollback ready. High-availability clusters, distributed Ceph storage and backups that are proven by actually restoring them.

A cluster of three or more nodes with quorum, live migration between nodes and automatic restart of critical machines if a node fails. Tested by actually powering a node off, not on paper.
Ceph for distributed storage with replication, or ZFS when the environment does not justify Ceph. Sized against your real read and write load.
Proxmox Backup Server with deduplication and immutable copies. Every month a machine is restored at random into an isolated environment: a backup that has never been restored is not a backup, it is a hope.
Node status, storage usage, Ceph health and the result of every backup job. If a copy fails at three in the morning, someone finds out at three in the morning.
A diagram of the environment, operating and recovery procedures, and training for your team. Everything is written down so it does not depend on someone remembering.
Sample screen showing what day-to-day operation looks like. Not client data.
No. We migrate in batches and each machine gets its own window. Most move with a few minutes of downtime; the heaviest ones get an agreed overnight window. The original machine stays powered off but intact for a few days in case we need to roll back.
It runs on KVM and LXC, the same virtualization foundation cloud providers use. What decides whether it holds up is not Proxmox but how the hardware and storage are sized, and that gets calculated during the assessment before we propose anything.
We are the support, with response times committed in the contract. You can also take the official Proxmox subscription for enterprise repository access, which costs considerably less than a traditional licence.
The assessment includes the number: what your virtualization costs today and what the same environment would cost on Proxmox. If it does not add up, we will say so.
